At Munden, we don’t hire the average Class 1 driver. Log hauling in the BC Interior is reserved for elite, professional drivers - drivers that have developed the unique set of skills required for this specialized truck driving.

Our drivers are home virtually every night. In fact, it is unusual that we ask drivers to stay away. If we do, the company looks after accommodations in a comfortable hotel/motel.

We spec only the best equipment for the job. Our fleet consists of late model Kenworth tractors 5 years old or newer to help ensure up time. Any mechanical issues are dealt with by our 7-day a week maintenance facility staffed with certified mechanics. We want our drivers driving... leave the serious maintenance to us!”

We understand the significant impact of fuel on your bottom line. Our policy is to pass on 100% of any fuel adjustment we get from our customers – no exceptions. We don’t take on contracts without a reasonable fuel adjustment clause. Period.
Our maintenance division is the fastest growing area of our business. Not only do we provide PM and repair services to our own fleet, but also we have a growing list of outside customers looking to have us provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for them. Having completed a significant facility expansion in 2014, we have been growing our maintenance team on a steady basis. With the addition of our Tank Division, we also employee certified welders and fabricators for both aluminum and steel work.
We are proud to say that we provide a great compensation plan. Our maintenance staff enjoys a very competitive wage plan including weekend shift differential, coupled with the benefits and pension plan provided to all of our full time staff.

As part of a quota logging operation, we have the steady work right out our back yard that really appeals to people who are looking for consistency and security from positions within the forest industry. Long Seasons
While forestry jobs can be known to be very seasonal, our operations typically enjoy a 10 ½ month year. As quota loggers in undercut areas, our customers are working closely with us to maximize the length of our season – providing more production to them and stable, predictable earnings to you.
